A proposed office building for a architectural competition in Leeds, UK. The building used a system of 4×4 meter module which organized and stacked up together create different heights and geometrical shapes such as terraces and flat roofs.
The earth rammed earth sunscreen protects the main façade of the building from the sun and yet creating a unique visual mark. The light that pass though dance inside as the sun passes.
The main criteria for the design was environmental. The green design uses such resources as thermal mass, passive microclimate, lighting technology, ground-air exchange and natural ventilation to better serve the buildings affect on the surrounding area.
