Halfway down walls are the main concept of this Japanese home in Hiroshima. The interior design for the house used the internal walls to only reach halfway down from the ceiling, allowing only to see the lower part of the view, a trait very common in japanese architecture. The architects idea was to gut the interior of the house and recreate a new division. The halfway walls divide the space but allow the ambients to be open to the exterior which itself is interior.
