Overlooking the Potomac River and the Key Bridge is currently the home of Architects Ariel Bergemann and Marisa Bergemann. The building, located on the historic C&O Canal in Georgetown, was designed by Architect Frank Schlesinger and resembles an industrial building converted into loft apartments, with floor to floor ceilings windows to take advantage of it\\\’s unique views. The combination of double-height space and tall windows create some unusual and dramatic interior, suitable for a studio like apartment, the main idea for the couple. The black leather and chrome classical modern design are mixed with antiques, vintage furniture and art works that keeps the apartment alive and contemporary. Everything in the house is full of stories from all over the world.
